doesn't recommendsCharged adult prices for our kids at the cafe, mine is 18 month and he was charge more than the full kids breakfast just for scrambled eggs on toast. £41 just for my partner me and baby for breakfast and drinks. Very expensive. Made to feel like we should have been specific it was for kids. What a... rip off. Staff on till in the works was very blunt when asked a simple question.read more

recommendsWe bought a piece of garden furniture which we had delivered. It needed assembling but unfortunately an element was broken. Reported it and the staff came out with a replacement this too unfortunately was faulty in the same location (looks like a faulty batch) so they took the item back with them... and came out the following day with a new one that they had put together for us. Each delivery arrived at time stated. Happy with final product.

recommendsMe and my mum visited today and had the breakfast rolls at the Cafe in Palmers Enderby and my word it was absolutley delicious, I had mushrooms, halloumi and egg in mine, my mum had veggie sausage, mushroom & halloumi in hers. We loved them and will definitely have them again very soon.

Had... a look round the rest of the garden centre too and was left impressed with the amount of Christmas stuff still on sale and 50% off. We both always love visiting Palmers 😊read more

I booked 21 members of our Kurling group for light afternoon tea at Ullesthorpe for our Christmas 'do' as before some 3 years later, we were well looked after and the reserved area was set out and decorated beautifully... unfortunately 2 of our party were unable to attend due to... illness, we asked if their food could be boxed up as a takeaway and this was done with no hesitation whatsoever....thankyou Palmers Ullesthorpe and Merry Christmas

I organised as part of our Jubilee celebrations a light afternoon tea at the Ullesthorpe Cafe this afternoon (17.06.22) for 18 ladies from my WI.
We were very well looked after by Kadie and her team from first entering the cafe until we left and the food was plentiful and delicious. The tea consisted of a hot drink, 4 triangle sandwiches with a mixture of fillings, a scone, jam, clotted cream and a dressed side salad.
The whole experience from booking with Stephen via email, going in to pay the deposit and the actual event itself was a pleasure and hassle free.
All the ladies thoroughly enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to arrange a social gathering or get together.

recommendsI’d just like to say a huge thank you. yesterday my mum and I visited with my 5 year old daughter. It was our intention to look around and grab a coffee. Instead my daughter was surprised to see Santa. I’d just like to say that having seen Santa many many times he “was the real one” he was amazing!... it was a lovely touch and very generous. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed a lovely morning out.read more

doesn't recommendsI am out of pocket much. The plants I bought from Hamilton Palmers have died. Grape vine, Bouganvila and two others. Plants i get from others all live. I really need replacements or refund. I have their card.

doesn't recommendsdon't go for breakfast! Tea/coffee and toast used to be included but not anymore . paid nearly £10 for 1 sausage , 1 bacon, egg beans and mushrooms. what a rip off . wasn't even that nice!

recommendsI do like the garden centre and for a long time it was my favourite.
But I mentioned a while back that the prices were creeping up and on my visit today they have sadly soared!
I have always tried to avoid the big names, Wyvale / Dobbies and the like because of the ridiculous... pricing.
Sadly Palmer's has matched and even exceeded some of the pricing of the larger outlets.
I know times are hard at the moment and it's difficult trading, but I refuse to pay through the nose for my products, the reduced to clear section is an obvious sign that people share my opinion.
25% off a dying plant does not attract me to buy and it's sad to think the plants will end up as compost instead of being enjoyed.
I do still recommend Palmer's as it is an attractive place to visit, but sadly I will buy my plants elsewhere.read more

recommendsFriendly helpful staff, huge variety of garden plants, (spent far too much 😱) garden decor and outdoor living furniture. Lovely cafe, good food and plenty of space. Busy when I was there but service was still quick and food well presented.
Didn’t have time for browsing any other areas,... I’ll save that for another day.
Dog friendly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
No steps so suitable for anyone a little unsteady on their feet.

recommendsOur first time out for lunch for well over a year, Palmer's was our favourite place back then and we've been desperate to get back. We both felt very safe: one way system, staff all with visors, tables well apart from each other, the usual lovely food, separate ordering, serving and clearing staff.... Nice to see how the tables and chairs were cleaned after customers left. All very reassuring. We won't be telling others about it though, don't want the queues to be too long! 😂😅🤣 Just joking, would recommend Palmer's to anyone, so glad to be back. Loved the outdoor section, I'm sure it will be fully utilised in the summer.read more

doesn't recommendsNormally I would recommend but after todays trip, I've changed my opinion.
Waited in a queue for 15 mins to get seated in the cafe, to then be told as we were seated that all hot food stopped serving 20 minutes ago. We probably wouldn't have waited for a table, had we been told that in the... queue.
We ordered just scones and jam, no hot drinks because we were told there's an issue with the hot drinks machine meaning a 30min wait on tea. Still waited about 20 minutes for two scones and a bottled drink to be brought to our table..
Staff were visibly annoyed, and quite uncaring about the amount of people waiting to be seated.

The way the cafe has chosen to operate in accordance with covid guidelines seems counterproductive. Socially distanced queues at the tills to order would have been more sensible than operating entirely on table service when you don't have the staff to clean tables and take orders.

Garden centre is fairly good in general, but their approach to covid guidelines needs to be reviewed.read more

doesn't recommendsI drove through Leicester to reach the garden center. Unfortunately, the purchases did not take place as planned. The man on the door said that without a shopping trolley I would not enter, I politely thanked him and told him that I did not need a big trolley. I was pushing the electric scooter... next to me. He said I wouldn't go in with it. I do not understand why? The scooter was off. I will not appear there anymore, I have no other transport. I thanked and saved the money I had to spend with them. Disappointed. Not friendly service.read more

recommendsWe were devotees of Woodlands for years, but the other week we visited Palmers at Enderby for the first time. WOW! Everywhere was clean and tidy, the vast array of plants looked extremely well cared for and the staff are not only friendly but also very knowledgeable. The food in the restaurant... looked very tempting (although we didn't try any, we just had a coffee). We will definitely be going back soon :-)read more
